EastCoast Truckers

Every year, the East Coast Truckers charity takes disadvantaged children out for the day from Norwich through Great Yarmouth and on to Pleasure Wood Hills theme park for a day of fun and excitement.

The charity originally started as a social club for drivers and their families in 1981, but it was developed in 1986 when 22 trucks took disadvantaged children from Repton House, Norwich to Pleasure Wood Hills.

Kuehne + Nagel have an employee who is a member/ volunteer within the charity who contacted our Branch Sales Manager Vaughan Rowley in Norwich to organise the truck being apart of the charitable event that allows disadvantaged children to enjoy a day out, but also contribute donations to the families and hospitals that need them.
