New direct vision standard
Proposals for a new star rating system for HGV driver’s direct vision have been unveiled by Transport for London. By grading the drivers direct line of sight from the cab on a scale of zero to five stars, only HGV’s rated three stars or more will be able to operate in London from 2024. Part of a scheme to keep both vehicle operators and the public safe, it is expected that this initiative will positively contribute to improving road safety, reducing the number of incidents that occur within the Capital. Why not talk to Dawsonrentals | truck and trailer about your next HGV acquisition to support urban delivery in the Capital? Our fleet is 2020 compliant!
