Ministers discussing ways to combat high pollution levels.
Ministers are currently discussing implementing 15.65 metre trailers in a bid to reduce the number of vehicles on the road contributing to high pollution levels. An independent paper from Risk Solutions reports that in trials conducted on UK roads so far, that 125,000 journeys have been reduced and between 15.1-17.8m kilometres saved. The extension to the trailer would allow trailers to carry two more rows of pallets. But would longer trailers present a risk on our roads to other users?
